This policy explains what data ViStudioAI collects, why, and what we deliberately never touch.
Real recording, drawing, notepad writing, screen capture, and video merging all happen entirely in your browser using local storage (IndexedDB) and in-browser processing (ffmpeg.wasm). Your raw footage, recordings, and exported videos are never uploaded to our servers — we simply never receive them.
To provide accounts, billing, and the optional AI Avatar feature, we collect and store:
• Account info: name, email, and password (hashed, via Supabase Auth) — needed to log you in and identify your subscription.
• Billing info: plan, billing cycle, and payment status — processed via Razorpay, which handles your card/UPI details directly; we never see or store your full payment credentials.
• AI Avatar photo & voice sample: only if you choose to use the AI Avatar feature, the photo and voice sample you upload are stored to generate your talking-avatar identity, and sent to our AI provider (HeyGen) to produce the output video. You can delete a saved avatar at any time from the app.
• Wallet & usage records: AI Avatar minutes purchased and spent, so your wallet balance stays accurate.
Solely to operate the product: authenticating you, running your subscription and AI Avatar wallet, generating AI Avatar videos you request, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded photo/voice for anything beyond the generation you requested.
• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for account/AI Avatar data.
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions and wallet top-ups.
• HeyGen — generates the AI Avatar video/voice from your uploaded photo and voice sample, only when you request a generation.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account and associated data, or delete a saved AI Avatar identity at any time. Contact us at contact@vistudioai.com for any of these requests.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify active subscribers by email.
